She knew that life is not a miracle. You have to live if you
want to survive. A moment lost in nothingness means lost life of hundreds of
moments. The thought that was the center of her life was, "Capabilities are
obligations".
And one has to fulfill these obligations through passing the benefits of these capabilities to those who are deprived of these benefits.
And one has to fulfill these obligations through passing the benefits of these capabilities to those who are deprived of these benefits.
So she used to live the life at its fullest. She was
supportive, helpful and philanthropic to her world. Her love for human race was
widening beyond her own world.
As she was as active as she wanted to be she was satisfied
with her life. When one gets satisfied from one’s achievements in role life has
given to oneself, one gets the meaning of real satisfaction. So she was
satisfied.
Then some adverse period came in her life. Her life was
forced to become stagnant. She could not think what should be next. In time her
life was stuck in the period called today. And in people it was stuck in herself,
in Rubab. Life died with the death of hope and there was no looking forward.
So she lost her hope. So she got confined to a life in which
the only person she had to care for was she. She rose in morning for herself
and she slept at nights for herself. And death started to dominate her life. And
she submitted even when she knew that submission means ultimate indignity and
disgrace and a very painful death of mind.

When she learned it she understood a small bit of idleness
on her part may mean a huge amount of injustice in next, dependent generations.
How could she bear that? How could she bear that when she took herself the center of emotions of world, when she thought that she was the only one who had
the whole stock of sympathetic feelings?
She could not surrender. She knew she could not. The life
means to succeed, if not for yourself, then for those who you live for.
